A single band of deep navy laid across ecru, with navy tipping at the collar and cuff — the oldest arrangement in sport, and still the one that works. The placket sits open and unstructured, so the collar reads well flat or turned up.
Medium-weight cotton-blend knit. Hand wash cold or machine wash on a wool cycle. Dry flat in shade. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron on reverse if needed.
Pleated trousers and leather loafers. Or the matching knit short, for the full set.
Regular fit — straight through the body, soft shoulder, no compression. Between sizes? Take the smaller one; knit gives.
